Bilstein B16 at the softest setting are more comfortable than stock and adjustable, at just over $2k...little more comfortable than Ohlins R&T on the street at any setting

I still will be hitting corners here and there, but I'm mostly concerned with comfort. Should I even go with coils or save some money and just get springs?
I have pretty much the same needs/wants as you and after a lot of research myself I think I'm going to go wth the Bilstein B14. Progressive spring rates make it really comfy for daily and nice enough drop, right on the $1000 mark.

I do not know where the Bilstein B14s fit on the quality scale but supposedly dampers are valved for a particular spring rate and the varying rate of progressive springs may fall out side of the damper's range.

I am not saying this is of practical importance for someone driving on public roads; this is a just a friendly something else to consider.

Whoa! Really?!? Im going to check it out. Im so confused on which way to go. Springs with some nice shocks or coils??? Im only going to be using my car as a DD so it doesnt have to be a 10k set up, but i dont want to have any issues at the same time.

Based on your needs, RaceComp Engineering yellow springs.

Like I said before, for $1000 I would buy dampers and springs.

Unless my STs are blown, they ride like shit in low speed bumpy roads. I have not encountered any custom setups comfortable as stock.

The common misconception is that aftermarket suspension is good at any particular price point from reputable buyers. At some price point the quality and tuning and R&D will be comprehensive enough within the design and quality of the materials used that it will encompass the stock suspension. This is usually the case with higher level setups such as RCE T2, Bilstein B16, KW Clubsport, anything related to JRZ, Moton, AST and the rest of those top notch guys.

I have not heard one bad thing about those companies, (upon research this platform doesn't have very many people looking into multi thousand dollar suspension, but the GT-R and Corvette and Porsche forums do).

I had Apexi N1 on my Integra. I loved them. Reasonably priced. You can get them for around $1100. I wanted to get them for my BRZ but they weren't available so I got Stance instead. I wish I would have waited. I use my BRZ as a daily and have no interest tracking it. Before I put the Stance coils on i had Vogtland springs on it lowered 1.6" approx and the ride was a night and day difference compared to stock. Personally I think the stock suspension ride is horrible but kinda expected due to what the car was made for. With the Vogtland springs on there the ride was much much nicer for daily driving.

If you want to buy from a forum vendor instead of ebay, hit me up, we can price match and ship tomorrow.
