With regard to the clutch pedal adjustment, I took care of it this morning on my 2015 FR-S. Much better action and a predictable point of operation. Fast too. As it turned out, I did not need to adjust the cruise control switch position; everything worked normally after moving the pedal.

I strongly suggest that anyone doing this adjustment get a pair of "bent" needle nose pliers from their neighborhood Radio Shack. This greatly eases the adjustment of the rod itself. The angled tip really makes it much easier to get around while standing on your head!

I got on my back yesterday, but my car is RHD, so I'm not sure exactly what to do without screwing things up. Is there any chance that someone with a RHD can explain in a bit more detail or post a photo?

Just press the clutch pedala few times with your hand while you are down there. You should see some movement closer to the gas pedal.

I imagine the instructions would be the same but let us know if you aren't seeing it.

While on the topic... anyone do this and get some god awful chatter at low speed? The day after I adjusted my pedal I observed this a few times in the parking garage at work. After that, it's worked like a champ outside of the horrible clutch work on my part while getting used to the new engagement position.

Yeah OK, I was a bit vague. I saw where the clutch was actuating. There is a white plastic pin that gets compressed whenever the pedal is fully released. I'm assuming that I need to adjust whatever is holding that but I can't quite draw a parallel with the original video.

I think I'll try and do a video myself to just show what I'm seeing and what I'm confused about. It's currently raining so it might take a day.

That's for the cruise/gear select. The adjustment point for the pedal itself is on the opposite side of the pedal set.

See that's where my problem comes in - on the RHD, everything happens right there, at the cruise control switch. There is nothing happening on the other side of the pedal set. Unless I'm misunderstanding what you meant.

Hmmm... On the US version, it's closer to the gas pedal. There is another rod/bracket assembly.

This is all I've got (clutch slightly depressed). You can see the switch on the left, but there is nothing else that moves at all when the pedal moves.

I hope this picture doesn't come up too enormous. I snapped it at work so I couldn't get a great angle but it should give an idea of what's going on.

Not familiar with RHD but you should see a rod pushing into the firewall on the upper portion of your picture. That is the rod you need to adjust in order to change the pedal position.

So I adjust that rod until the clutch feels good, then adjust the sensor for cruise control if needed?
