Lets here some somewhat budget friendly options.
does it need to be streetable?

your'e not telling us your suspension setup and what tire is on there now.

Dunlop Z11s on RCE Yellows and Bilstein sport shocks. -3 degrees of camber and 0 toe all around.

Can be streetable or I can use my 255 setup as street tires as long as all 4 wheels and tires will fit into the car to take to events.

Because that is how I prefer my alignment setup for auto x, being that I have no damping adjustment as well. The camber is partially to clear the rear fenders as well, 255s on a +35 wheel rub with anything less than -2.8 degrees of rear camber on my car for some reason.

This is not a street car, its a weekend toy that is primarily used for auto x.

i'm 265 +40 and have ZERO issues and i run -1.4 in the rear. plenty of room. but i guess its because i'm on a stiffer suspension as well.

Suspension probably has a lot to do with it, and you are 5mm less agressive, what kind of tire? Certain tires have much more rounded sidewalls as well.

RE11, 265/35 sidewall is pretty square.

as far as your question, just start looking into R-comps and stickier tires. can always get some conti takeoffs from racecars, but those are not streetable

i know people who run as big as a 285 in the rear.

its all a matter of your wheel offset/width and your alignment specs that will determine what you can in the end fit in terms of tire width.

you can fit that, rolling would most likely be necessary, as well as a relatively stiff suspension.

Crawford BRZ runs 275 square, stock fenders. They have also ran 285 in the rear (with 265 out front).

I'd love to see 295 under stock fenders.
