The highest boost pressure the factory MAP sensor is capable of reading is right around 5psi (depending on atmospheric pressure). So if you see your boost logs flatline somewhere around that, it could very well be higher.

If you you are looking for a header to use with this kit, the JDL EL header is your best option. EL headers provide better top in power. UEL headers were great for NA cars as it provided better TQ in the DIP than EL. I would love to see the 1.5 dump 250 setup with a full Exhaust and no cats with a JDL EL header with E85 could produce.

The tq300 is still in beta testing but it doesn't make sense for BRZ or frs in its current form. The tq 250 spools up faster and has almost identical boost levels.

I may just be crazy, but I still want to see 2 phantom compressors hooked up in series on the car.
10 psi witin ~.5 seconds of WOT. We would have to limit boost to ~7psi for stock engine config. Have maybe 4psi over 6k, if the boost scales 1 to 1. This should keep us from needing new clutch, cooling, fuel mods. Fitment would be easy if you ran a CAI, or some slight piping work to use the stock airbox. The alt charger could just be another controller and could control the second compressor. Both could be hooked up to the same throttle switch for activation. All that would leave is the need for a dump 2.0. 1 dump pack for each compressor, or if It will fit; two 1.5's. I realize this is getting really expensive and outside the purpose for the phantom kit, but I can't help but think about the upgrade path of the ESC. I don't know if the OFT could tune for that type of setup, but think about it, double(theoretically) the boost acrost the range for an extra $1600. If you already have a 2.0dump and OFT. ![]() ok bored rant over, commence crushing my dreams. |
