Do you have the AEM module plugged in or are you bypassing it and just using the straight maf sensor?
I flashed the last tune in may. I just havent had time to do the logging, really, but i figured after 4 revisions it would be pretty much done.

The CEL just came on when i posted this thread and i didnt know the tune was at fault (really, i still dont). I have had 2 track daus on this tune and probably 1000 miles of normal driving with no cel.

Edit: im bypassing the aem module as instructed by the tuner.

I wouldn't assume it was done being tuned until he tuner says it was. Your maf and ignition table needs some tweaking. Your fuel trims are swinging at times and can be triggering that cel. And the knock feedback could be caused by unfinished maf calibration or too aggressive ignition timing. Your power is being reduced currently from the global ignition pullback due to knock being seen at the 2800-3600 range.

It is not uncommon for 5-10 revisions to be required to dial in a tune.

Thanks for the info. Ill get some logs and get a hold if the tuner then. Im just worried about doing 2nd gear pulls at WOT with the current tune running lean.

Its hard to tell if you are actually running lean in WOT without seeing a log. WOT and partial throttle are going to have different voltages from the maf so the calibration may just be off on the low end, and not the high end. You have to also realize your car will run in closed loop where it targets a specific afr (should be around 14.5-15AFR) using the oem o2 sensor until the ecu decides it needs to run open loop where it stops using the o2 sensor and just uses its actual maps to calculate how much fuel to add. So the 15 AFR you are seeing during partial throttle can be completely normal until the throttle goes all the way down.

Here are my latest set of 2nd gear pulls. Things actually look much better here:

EDIT: Still a lot of knock correction, though.

Your AFR is safe in that log. However you are seeing knock correction in a few spots. But its hard to see how much learned knock there is without knowing the exact targets.

Okay, well I just reflashed the latest tune (revision 4) just in case I accidentally flashed the wrong one before and then took logs of:
-10min of normal driving
- 2x second gear pulls

Check your car for vacuum leaks. Verify your MAF o-ring is clean and the maf is secure. Verify that the coupling to the throttle is tight. If you have a catch can verify all fittings are clean and tight and anything else post MAF that has been altered from the factory. If you are still having problems then your maf curve is off by a fair bit.

your tuner should be sorting out the maf scaling for you if you don't have any vacuum leaks ect
however if you want to know/understand what he is up to , or even do it yourself see here

www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64790

use the vgi utility if you decide to do it makes it quite easy

That last log does not look to bad at all AFR at higher rpm looks a bit on the rich side at 11.2 at 5000rpm for an NA car.

The maf scaling looks ok except for around idle 700-800 rpm it 30% which is max allowed from memory

You have a bit of the dreaded throttle tip in knock pulling about -2 degrees 2000-3000 when you get on the gas.

tuner should sort that next round hopefully. tip in enrichment, transient retard and or pull some base timing in that load rpm range. It pretty hard to eliminate but should be able to get it down to -0.6 or so.
