Markup over MSRP = Stupid Tax
$5K will let you shop the ENTIRE country and have your BRZ shipped to your door in a covered transport, and still have enough left over for a set of rims/tires. |

i dont see it lasting long. a 20% markup is huge. especially on a lower priced car/demographic. with the internet nowaday you can shop anywhere and get the best deal. i bought my last car from a dealer 400 miles away since it was the only bmw i could find with a 6MT.

If my local dealership does the same I'll go to a non-local one. 5K markup is way too much. I could do $500 tops...

I'm not the least bit hesitant to walk out of the dealership if they try to charge me a penny more than MSRP. Everyone here should have the same philosophy.
Eventually they will gladly accept MSRP (or less) once the hype dies down and supply catches up to demand. |

I am astonished that anyone would agree to paying $5k over MSRP. Simply amazing.

BRZs are going to cost a fortune here as well due to low production and historical pattern of Canadian Subie markups. The FR-S is the volume, mass market version. |

Get the fuck out of here.
That car, like all others, should be purchased at or below MSRP, not well above. Laugh in their faces. Walk out. |
