A day away from receiving my kit... I am super excited! Hit the GMR yesterday and theres a film crew shooting a commercial for the Jaguar F Type. Film crew gets out and says "nice car!" as they see my FRS. I respond: "I love mine but lets trade ;-)" They answer back... "Do you recognize who's driving the F- Type?" I say "Nope." Well it so happens to be Ken Gushi in a wig! I get to hang with him a bit and talk Phantom Electric Super Charger. Talk why the GT86 is the best platform to build from and why He loves it. Kick ass day... Kick as car we have...

Gums what sort of exhaust mods do you run . i have drop in fillter ofh oft n1 invidia cat back exhaust & modded air intake

Seriously... Its one of those things where you want other people to enjoy with you. I wish there were others there with me. I geeked out pretty hard. Can't wait to cruise it with the ESC. :beer:

All stock at the moment, don't know how long that will last though. Header "buy" button is looking fairly attractive.

Can you retain the engine protection plate with the OFH?

I'm looking forward to the impressions of all the new guys getting their ESC soon. Been wanting to check out DAEMANO's but been pretty busy finishing up grad school. Most likely gonna pull the trigger after I graduate .

Also I'm wondering if anyone has done a dyno with stock headers on (either 1.5 or double dump pack). I don't plan on getting headers ever since it's my daily driver (noise concerns) but hopefully gains wouldn't suffer too much.

Well here we go again. I reinstalled the ESC with the updated controller and harness, it worked fine for two days... I was driving to work this morning and as I went WOT the compressor failed to engage. I tried several times during the way but nothing would happen any of the times. My voltage on the read out is showing 28.4-28.6 volts. Also I can hear the pedal switch engage/click. I popped the hood and looked at the wiring and couldn't see anything wrong with it either...This is really frustrating me.

Did Rob find out what was wrong with the last harness and controller?
Maybe you should uninstall everything and do the install over. I'm not saying you did a bad install but sometimes it's hard to spot the problem unless you retrace your steps

My car had the stock headers so did fentons.

This is very odd so many of us are fine. Rob is your best bet. I have a few ideas but I don't want to give bad advice.

Yes I got the controller back and the new harness and installed them. Everything was working fine for two days then this morning it wasn't engaging. I don't think it's the install as both installs were working fine without issue at first.

Raven when you were installing you ended up adding the copper piece last on accident or was that someone else?
