About a month or two. They said they changed the tsb to only cover certain production runs.

Did they tell you which ones? I'm not sure how to read the VIN info in the TSB attached.

Nope. And I don't see it on that either. Oh well. I know when we get the e85 I won't have the crickets. Never had it while running e85 and I plan on running e85 as much as possible.

Talked to Rob yesterday and he said 99% complete for May batch. He must just be waiting for one thing before they are good to go.

He doesn't want to lead people on saying just about here, just about here.

He will literally just pm you and send a PayPal request and it will ship out the same day payment is made.

That's how he did the last ones anyways.

Think you guys will be good to go soon

Sounds good. That's what he said about paypal request. I just wondered whether we should be expecting it imminently or if it would be another week or two...

I figure 40% more torque would give the BRZ approximately the same torque to loaded weight ratio as the WRX and that is just about what the ESC seems to do on 91 octane.

Thanks!
If only I saw this earlier. I was showing the Phantom ESC to people at the GTA meet this past weekend in Toronto.

Nice! Thanks, Rob! I knew that with a cool name like that, you'd be shipping them out soon.

I'll be on vacation for about 3 weeks next month, but when I come back, I will be taking my car to the track. Here are a [lot] of questions

1. Back to the cooling mods, @Sojhinn @nlowell how well are your air ducts doing keeping the controller cool?

2. What seems the be the biggest cause of the controller overheating? Usage of the ESC itself, hot air trapped in the engine bay, something else?

3. Would directing air onto the controller be enough to keep it cool?

I want to figure a way to prolong the controller from overheating as much as possible. Extend the limits of the ESC per say.

4. If I reroute the WOT switch to some place where I can activate by hand, @fenton, do you know if there are any potential negative effects from clicking on the switch while I'm already WOT? (another way to think of it - activating super pursuit mode to activate the WOT switch while I'm already WOT)

5. @shiv@vishnu How does the tune on the ECU know when the ESC is activated and producing boost. Would it be smart enough to tell that I'm WOT without boost vs. WOT with boost (scenario on question 4)?

6. I think I remember you saying the performance of the OTS ESC tune is not as optimal as a stage 1 tune when I'm not using boost, is that correct?
