So, when going into reverse, the image seems cutoff, at least at the top. I'm seeing my bumper just like I did before, but I definitely remember seeing more up top than what's showing now, like I'm having trouble seeing more than just concrete, and the wheels of cars, is there some sort of video calibration I can access? Also, is it just me or are the notifications in the upper bar going off the screen, the top edge of the screen is cutting off all notification text that pops up (like when an app has finished installing or something) but all the other icons are not cutoff... weird.

Just installed mine. Freaked out and kept raising volume. Factory reset fixed it.
Honestly wasted most of my time trying to remove the factory bespoke GPS module. Anyone know how to remove that thing?(just left for now but would like to sell my old radio with it).
Spent about five minutes going through menus and that's about it so far....

The top lip of my unit is covering part of the screen, just slightly, but that explains why my notifications are getting cutoff, that's really disappointing since I don't know how to fix that without breaking plastic... As for the mounting holes, my brackets aren't right up against the front touching, but they are only a few millimeters back, I don't see how they could be in any other position but I might double check...

Anyone know how to get radio to keep the stations you tune to?

It keeps changing once I exit the app.

Just press and hold the preset button(s) when you are tuned into the station you want

Wiring isn't an issue, physical dimensions were my worry. Just gotta find/fabricate mounting brackets

Do you remember what you put where? The diagram is better than nothing, but I'm still scratching my head.

Yep, mine is like that too. I never even thought to bring it up here cause it doesn't really affect me except for the rare occasions I have notifications. Unfortunate, nonetheless. These units are great, but no doubt need some refining.

On the diagram, the bottom left 3 pins is what you need to look at. Pin 28 is VAL+ (left channel/white), VA- (ground/black), VAR+ (right channel/red). That's looking at the 28-pin harness wire-side btw, so you'll plug those wires on your SWC harness into the lower right corner.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one, but it kinda sucks, it's cutting off an important view from my backup camera, where every little bit more I can see counts =/

Could you post a picture of what you guys are referring too, maybe we can get an answer from the supplier too? ...

Just to be sure.

I read most of the pages and I think that the radio will only run off unit via the Wifi/3g dongle.

Could I use my phone with Wifi tether to allow the headunit to work? Also, will the phone run off internet with bluetooth connectivity. I'm guessing I will need to the 3g dongle to use the internet while driving such as pandora... etc.

I guess you haven't read that much, because this has been covered. Wifi tethering works, bluetooth not right now, but you don't need a dongle if you're tethering to your phone....

Regular radio, FM/AM does not need internet, it needs the antenna from your car, just like a normal radio.

Anyone try wiring up steering wheel controls with this? Have links to someone who has? (even if it is non-BRZ/FRS/GT86)
