Most of the pack-in stickers are not what you want to put on your car, even if you were into that sort of thing.

I use those for my toolbox.

It's the same with bicycle parts, they all come with stickers but you don't have to stick them onto the frame as that's not what they are for, they are too huge for the frame most of the time.

Never really thought about those stickers that comes in boxes to be put on the car, you might be confused with decals. I usually put them on items such as my laptop, my door for my room or on my crappy acoustic guitar.

I won't put stickers on my car. I do enough advertising through clothing gear, food/beverages, electronics, jewelry/watches, tattoos and the list goes on... But let's verbally assault the guy that throws a badge or sticker on his car

We're all advertising something intentionally or unintentionally ...

Some people are ricer and plaster stickers like no one's business. Others simply want to advertise some great manufacturers who provided them good stuff, and they put a select few in tasteful places.

And there's other folks who put the stickers on their toolbox or on the inside of the trunk lid or in the engine bay, preferring a "sleeper" exterior.

I'm personally somewhere in the middle. I won't be putting supplier stickers over my car, but I do plan on SOME decals on the car to give it some character. I'm thinking something Firefly-related that isn't tacky (no massive hood art) that would be in better keeping with an artful track machine.

And some folks really ARE sponsored by some folks for certain events and they just keep the stickers on.

You can think of a tasteful way to put Firefly stickers on your car? (question is rhetorical, as this is not possible)

Indeed I can. It's not rhetorical and very possible.

I have my local sports car club sticker on my rear window. They don't sponsor me...guess I'm a ricer.

Based on the amazing service, product, and response time from the gang at Vishnu Tuning I've put their sticker low on my rear window for a bit. They do an amazing job and I am happy to do some free advertising for them. But it makes me a "ricer" so I'm having second thoughts.

It really comes down to personal preference. Who is anyone to say what is ricer or what is tacky? If someone wants to drive a car covered in <Kicker> stickers or Konig or put Greddy stickers (even though they don't have a single Greddy part). Who are we to judge? Each car is its owners expression. And if an owner feels pride driving a car 100% covered, then I say "Good for them, and happy driving". That being said, I don't put stickers on my car. IF I did, I would like obscure JDM driving references. But I was stationed in Japan for 5 years and got to see how amazing the driving scene and culture is overseas.

I have a parking decal and one for Southeast 86 and another one coming to support a local car group starting. The only time I ever put a vendor decal on was for a contest being ran that they decided to forget about it seems. That decal for the vendor came off after the pictures were taken for the contest. I wouldn't put actual stickers like K&N or whatever on.

I do it for certain things only. For instance, the local race shop that I take my cars to for everything would be an exception. I have their sticker on my car because I believe they are a great bunch if guys who do excellent work and I prefer to support them by having their name on my car.
