Anybody tried rust-proof BRZ?

I often find rusted wheel hangers, exhaust pipes, etc. Wondering anybody has put stuff like rust-oleum under the car and make sure all the steel stuff stays rust-free? If there is a DIY available, would love to take a look. Thanks.

JDM Aero under-panels pretty much cover the entire bottom of the car, I'd much rather go that route.

Why? You live in CA.

Exhaust? Get stainless steel.
Other exposed parts? Surface rust protects.

Sheet metal? If you have rust issues from living in California, you have a defective car.

Could you please elaborate/educate what you mean by 'Surface rust protects'? Thanks.

Careful where you get your rust proofing. Rust proofed my car at a local shop that uses a gel base. That gel base got dirty real fast. Almost disgusting. I had to wipe it all off because it turned into brown. Looked like some took a wet number 2 on my door jams.

I plan on buying some cans myself and spraying the major parts. Only like $7-8 dollars a can of rust check.
