You guys think the RC-F will be more rewarding to drive than an M3?

I sort of hope so, but I just don't see it.

The LFA was not really light weight compared to an MP4-12C, yet is a "better" car. The LFA is of the the best cars ever built. The last version of IS-F, while heavier and having an auto transmission, was as fast, if not faster than an M3 E9X. The RC-F will have more power, similar torque, better response, better sound and better handling due to torque-vectoring diff and rear-wheel steering. TRD will surely improve on it also.

I know the RCF is out of my price range for sure, but I like even the base model, which Ive read from another Lexus employee should start around 45k.

I really want the F Sport which that same guy said should start around 51k. Still a bit high in price, but Im going to try to swing it once my lease is up.

it's a new engine 2.0 turbo ~500hp replace the old SC engine. This new engine sound amazing just like F1. Some rumor said lexus/Toyota will bring this engine to their next lexus production car. Hopefully it will be in the next IS/RC line up.

Brz debut GT300 last season which is too top for them. I predict BRZ try to hanging there for this season again.

I can't see that happening - emissions would neuter the engine...

In the pre-qualifying all 6 Lexus RC-Fs had the fastest times. Beastly.

Just sounds like every other turbo four, really. The F1 engines are rather disappointing as well.
