Could it be? After 48 pages we are finally out of things to talk about?

My point is, if i'm getting one...its going to be used. It isn't THAT special enough to justify 25k.

I brought the type R into the discussion is because..THAT was a total bargain for its class.

FRS - not really a best in its class. What is my money really paying for that is worth 25k? Only up side is that it is NEW. While real FRS competitions are all dead or old.

GTi- that's a bargain because you're buyin an A3 in a sportier characteristic.

Getting a low COG is harder than you think ($$$). If it wasn't everyone would do it and one reason it is reserved for cars that cost many times more than the FRS. The qualities to appreciate in the FRS are subtle and might not be appreciated by everyone. That is ok. That is why there are other brands out there.

Look! 5k cheaper and looks just as good!

Its kinda like the Versa strategy in reverse... I doubt anyone actually even buys the lowest model, when for just a few k more I can get the better one... ....

I muse...
25k isnt THAT expensive... lol...

Well...

Scion vs Toyota has been discussed.
Auto HVAC/Push button start/HID's vs none has run its course.
Sticker shocker has been done to death.
Speed seems to be dying down.
Hatch vs Trunk could potentially spark a new war.
And i think Stock tires vs better tires might be a new one coming up also.

You mean the Integra Type R? The one that cost $24450 in 2001? That would cost $32000 in today's equivalent? That bargain? Or some other car?

Don't let the door hit you on the way out...

You are really going to argue about 25lbs just because of the amount of gas?
That means you have clearly never driven the Mustang and GC in comparison. It sits higher than a GC and its hood blocks everything out the windshield . Its boxy nature works against it and it doesn't feel driver oriented when I sit in it. The GC feels just like my RSX and the FRS from sitting inside. The only difference is the FRS sits a bit lower and is obviously smaller. So I like the feel of cars like my RSX with a low slung front to rear body. Low slung GT Sports style > Boxy anyday of the week.

Also I wasn't arguing about the 25 lbs. Some people believe that's what the car will weigh with a full tank and I didn't want people to be confused. Any car can weigh less than its curb weight with gas missing.

He was being sarcastic. I still don't think that's how people see it though. They just don't think its worth that much. I used to think the S2000 was overpriced until I realize it was gunning for the boxster at 12k cheaper. But the FRS is a bargain vs the S2K and the Cayman but people are not seeing it that way.
