How's the vent with the gauge in? When using air con I generally have the vent pointing away from the steering wheel otherwise my hand gets cold! Does the cold air go straight onto your hand and make it cold, or hot if heating on?

I was a bit worried about that too but it turns out it's not an issue. I haven't noticed any particular hot/cold feeling on my hand, the vent seems to be diffusing the flow quite homogeneously.

My apologies for the necro....

The instructions that the gauge comes with include English, very VERY clear and concise. By the looks of it, there shouldn't be any problems with installation. I already removed the air vent on the left side in about 10 seconds. http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...er=239&VOLKEY= -alex |

@NYCsubaruBRZ yes and no... I didn't want to run any additional adapters and wanted a plug and play gauge, but keeping interior as minimal as possible.
This allows me to remove and put back to stock whenever I want to, and also gives me the ability to monitor oil/water temps at the track. For my situation it's a win/win. YMMV. -alex |
