On another note, this is the first time I can recall seeing the BRZ shown without fog lights. Doesn't look bad.

I personally think it looks the best like that. That is how my car will look. WRB with no spoiler and no fogs.

That said, 30k OTD for top trim, top everything seems close enough to real life.

I'm glad you posted.. welcome to the forums!

However, I must disagree with your assessment. Fuji is not discontinuing their Kei Cars SPECIFICALLY to ensure BRZ is produced in sufficient quantities.

They were simply not competitive with the other Japanese makes in that arena so they made the decision a long time ago to exit that segment. It is absolutely true that they will focus more resources on the boxer engines and their "normal" size car lineup. But, trust me, this was not some spur-of-the-moment decision made so that they could pump out a few more BRZ's thanks to high initial demand projections. This was a fully calculated business decision that took quite a long time to arrive at. It just happens to be coincidence that the news is breaking at this time.

Thank you. It could be the case. What caught my eye is that 'average' production capacity of those minicars is almost 150k cars per year (8m/54years). Considering that its never linear, its more now, than 54 years ago. Thats a lot of minicars to produce and a lot of passenger cars to fill those resources.

Obviously FHI are going to make other cars there, not just BRZ, but I guess, that is just another positive hint that demand is there, and they addressing it upfront.

Lol I'm like the opposite, I just want the fog and no LED strip like the Japanese models. But knowing me and my If I don't need it I don't want it Mentality, I'll be running around with the same set up as you. Less someone wants to swap trunks I'll be happy to take them spoilers. Might be kinda hard for me to find another SSM owner, everyone has a WRB XD

and I like your Name Oriental Life, It makes me want to eat some food LOL dunno why.

I'm surprised it's still accessible. I figured it would be moved/shutdown by now. Either Subaru hasn't noticed us poking around, or doesn't care. Maybe they like the extra buzz.

So this is pretty random but I just noticed another detail I hadn't seen before, HD radio built into the nav unit. I've always wanted it but never wanted to pay for it, it will be cool to try it out.

Aha radio makes HD radio seem even less interesting to me then it did before, but that might be different if I spent a lot of time commuting.

Oh man, if prices are around 25k that is going to be sweet! If I could get a premium for 24k I'm definitely picking up a BRZ.
