I'm gonna have to relearn how to drive manual in the spring. For the last 6 weeks it's been simply dump the clutch and let her spin!

Garage
My car was driven last winter and this winter, I got an exhaust for xmas and I could barely undo the bolts, they were SO rusted.

I should have been undercoating, but it's a lease so whatever.

What kind of shitty salesman tries to dissuade someone from buying their car?

i know!

he was also the only salesman that wanted to go along on the test drive, and my husband had to sit behind me

he lost the sale, and when i went back 5 months later he wasn't there any more

Totally agree. I almost want to store it in the summer and only bring it out when it rains.

....almost.

The salesman thought he knew your requirements better than you do lol!

Same thing happened to me when I told the garage where I had my car serviced that I was going to switch to a BRZ due to too many issues with the GTI, and I got the same lecture on how FR is not a good choice if it's my only car and it is bad in winter. Needless to say I'm happy on making my decision and haven't went back to that shop since.
