Why not? Because there is a good chance they are "impared" OR zoned out OR communicating on their cell phones OR fussing with their kids OR ..... well, you get the idea .....

hah, there was an incident where a guy had an accident. His friends wondered why he got ticketed, but he was leaving out that he had to get a couple stitches on his "member".

Side impacts like that will usually destroy your wheel bearing if not today sooner or later it wilk fail.
Wheel and tire for sure and I would proactively replace lower control arm. they are very easy to bend and deflect. Then re align.

I hit a highway median in the snow in my last car (coincidentally what lead me to winter tires lol). I had a strange noise the body shop said they couldn't hear/feel. I didn't know anything about cars at that point so I took it to the dealer and told them I had a crash. Turns out had a bent wheel and destroyed bearing.

That kinda concerns me... since there's a lot... and I do mean a lot of pot holes where I live, all the rims on my BMW are bent due to potholes, even though they're quite strong (hit a curb once while drifting it, bent the control arms, but the rim was lightly chewed for the impact)

They take a beating, you shouldnt worry. i just think i was at the wrong place at the wrong time

Yep, it don't take much. I was driving my wife's car (which was the LAST time she let me drive it) and rounded a corner on a snow covered road in our subdivision ..... and the curb on the other side of the road jumped out and broadsided her car.

I figured an alignment would fix er up ..... WRONG, a new wheel, lower control arm, front strut and wheel bearing set ... fixed er up ...

i curbed my right front rims a little bit the first few days i had the car. little too eager on a roundabout. The car doesn't sway to either side and there is no strange noises. the rims likes like its lightly scratch no where near as damage as OP but i did feel a thump when the rims made contact with the curb. Should i be worry? i have jacks at home i could jack it up and take off the wheels to looks but i would have no idea how to tell if anything need replacement it its not obviously bent or broken.

Alloys do break if the impact is hard enough. Aluminum doesn't bend or stretch too easily. Steelies won't break but if they bend far enough the result is the same, the bead of the tire breaks and you're done. If the rock cuts the tire, as it seems it did for you, then the damage to the wheel is not relevant.

Sound like a normal curb mark. I curbed one of my OEM wheels when I got the car because the steering is so much better/faster than my last car. It is marked, but fine. I have driven it quite hard no problems.

Yep, I agree with having the alignment checked (and wheel balance).

If the tech cannot get it within alignment specs, and/or the wheel won't balance, that indicates something may be bent. If it "growls" that may indicate a whacked out wheel bearing.
