Call the police department tomorrow and request a copy of the police report. If they say they didn't file one, I'd be contacting a lawyer because something smells fishy (like the DUI was one of the cops buddies). My sister-in-law got body slammed in her car one night by a girl and the cop let her go and come to find out the girl was one of the police dispatchers. Don't let this get away from you by not being diligent.
