Thanks, yeah it's on e85. It seems to be a little louder (whines more) on 93 but maybe that's just because it's slower and I perceive more noise than movement.

Here you go

note that car weighs around 2500 lbs and has a huge radiator/oil cooler combo.

Thanks and yes they can. I might upgrade to some when I get a smaller pulley but given the layout of my header it looks like I'd have to remove it to get the crank pulley bolt out, so I don't know yet. Essentially it would reduce the parenthetic drag helping give back the few ponies it robs from the engine and give quicker engine response.

Update:

I received a bunch of goodies in the mail. I'm about to install my rear tow hitch, 3-bar MAP sensor, and flash my new tune (update to follow).

I received:
- A spare belt
- Sonax wheel cleaner (used a full bottle trying to clean my wheels last time!)
- OBD II extension
- Perrin rear shifter bushing
- Omni Power 3-bar MAP sensor
- First pre-read book for my MBA program I start in two weeks (UNC Kenan-Flagler)

I also got the car detailed today. I had some soap suds building up on the car so they took care of that with a clay bar and put down a coat of wax.

Now to get busy with some install..I should receive my 2-liters of oil today (top off the oil) and will receive my trailer light wiring kit tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Update:

I pulled the rear bumper off and installed the tow hitch. It lays against the stock muffler a little bit so I stuck an old exhaust gasket between to cut down on any vibration. I'll deal with it later, it's not rattling but the exhaust echos through the bumper a little...actually sounds like a mild aftermarket muffler

I ran into an issue when installing my MAP sensor. It was reading high voltage. It seems that the innovate MAP extension might have got messed up when I installed it. I removed it and just tugged the factory MAP cable and it just gets around and on.

I got my oil and topped it off (was about 1/2 a quart low from the perrin oil cooler install):

Rear bumper removed:

Sits right flush in there:

But to get the stock bumper beam back on you need to trim a little edge off to get it over the tow hitch. I used an angle grinder and took my time to make it clean. For me it was easier to take a little off both sides rather than more off one side:

My welding/cutting gear (good thing it was 90 degrees today!):

The bumper beam back on:

My temporary ghetto rig:

Nice and stealth even jacked up in the rear you can't see it:

I get my wiring kit and ball tomorrow, hopefully everything goes well on the install. I pick up the trailer on Saturday and head to Richmond to visit a friend. Then it's on to VIR for two days!

3-BAR MAP sensor installed:

I flashed the new tune from @moto-mike. So far it feels great, only took it for a quick spin. My boost hit 8.1 psi:

I also installed the OBD II extension. Unfortunately it's a left hander and the cable wants to run that way given the orientation. So for the time being I just ran it under the dash panel (lower one under the steering wheel) and inside the weather stripping up to the dash for easy access to plug in my bluetooth adapter.

I think your videos and write-up in this thread have me nearly convinced to get a BRZ and throw on the innovate supercharger. I got rid of my G37 and my old truck about 3 months ago, because we badly needed a new truck to fit the whole family. I did this with the intention of eventually purchasing another car as a DD. After looking at Everything in a $50k price range, I'm disappointed with what exists out there. Have checked out everything from the Infiniti Q50 to the 135is, 335i, CTS-V, Mercedes, and even Lexus. I don't need a luxury car anymore, refuse to buy a WRX STi, and have already been the Evo route a few years back. I like the price of the BRZ, and that it's a RWD car. If they had a turbo version, I'd buy it without hesitation. This seems to be the best bet without having to spend $6k + tune on a turbo kit, and a much more difficult install. Having a 9 month old kid, time is something I don't have a lot of anymore. I plan on getting a new vehicle near the end of the year, so I shall keep up on what you've been doing. Thanks for all the info.

Oil temps look awesome. Great to see Forced Induction cars doing track days. Did you have any fuel starvation issues? How low did you run the tank?
