From the look of it, I'm guessing $35k~$50k (if CF is dry CF)... Also few thing didn't make sense was why stainless exhaust pipe? If you gonna go this far, mind as well go titanium or why there's no CF doors, mirrows, roof... or how the list is missing a tone of engine internal mods list...

I don't have a budget, I will spend what I need to spend. I will be doing most of the work myself with the help of another fabricator. I've never worked with Titanium and have made custom stainless exhaust before. I'm making everything from the header to tip. I may do more carbon fiber but I am undecided. Ichitaka I don't know where you are from but "ton" is a unit of weight and "tone" as in two tone mirrors is the correct spelling at least in the American English. And the engine won't need much to hold 350 rwhp. Might need to enlarge the combustion chamber in the heads to lower the compression.

I still am thinking WTF!
Clearly going off the idea that bigger is better, sadly it just isn't true. There is no need at all to go that wide for anything more than looks especially at that power level. Apart from that some very interesting idea's being thrown around on here. |

A TMIC isn't a bad idea, but I don't like the idea of cutting up a brand new hood. D;

295's aren't really that big for a 2600# car making 350whp.

Well, you have highly modded 944, so hopefully you know what you're working with. I will expecting Member Journal of this project. As for CF, is it gonna be dry or wet? |

Anything over 255 on this car will ruin the way it drives period. I just dont understand the need to go that wide at all. |

People have huge plans for a car that is not released yet. Pretty cool to see that much excitement over a new car.
I suspect the major hurdle will the upgrading the DI fuel injection or only upgrading the non-DI portion and programming it to work with the DI. Until fuel upgrade is dealt with any turbo charging would be limited by fuel available. Have to see what the drivetrain can really handle too. Not much fun to have 350whp and blowing diffs, snapping axels and breaking transmissions. |

I live 20 minutes from his shop! It would be awesome if BEGI got on board with this!

Of course, given that no one here has driven it, it's hard to say. You might be right. |

Ichitaka, I will link you to my cardomain.com page when I have the car and keep up to date photos of the progress. As for the IC i don't want to give all of my ideas away just yet. It will take me several months to get the car done and I would hate for someone to beat to the punch on one of my ideas.
Crashoverride, If that size of tires fits under the stock fenders I may have to go bigger then the 295's just to fill up my wide body. |
