No question, reliability is important for a stage 1 kit. We really don't know what that hp/tq# is yet for this car over a prolonged time. Things seem to be holding up well with higher numbers in the short run, but that's not much of a gauge of a motor that has been boosted for 5+ years.
Even if the fuel system, motor/tranny can take 250whp all day long, over and over, you are still going to wear down parts like the clutch faster than normal. It looks like AVO is going to make a great kit for the car. I was just saying, I'd take more hp. Hell, I'd take 300whp if it was reliable without swapping pistons/rods... but who knows? |

Nice, finally some numbers and vids. Looks like a good entry level kit with stealth look.

Wow that torque "curve" is ridiculous. This kit is more tempting by the minute. |

I completely agree that a reliable, consistant, efficient entry level kit is what most will seek, but what if you could get a kit that does 0-60 in 5 seconds reliably then upgrade later and have a car that does 0-60 in 4. Because im not sure about you, but most people get used to how fast a car is and want more. IMO scalability and growth in a kit is just as important as the initial setup.

Just go on Facebook, search avoturbo, click their page and it should be one of their latest postings
