EL vs UEL is mainly a concern for the NA guys. When every horsepower gained takes that much planning, money and time it's worth it to have the power vs. the sound. But when ten horse power is a half pound of boost away, who cares.

Edit: The sound of the UEL with turbo is delicious. But to me, if you're gonna have that kind of sound, you'd better have the power to back it up, which means FI.

The video is in a thread right here. I don't remember exactly where but the thread has to do with UEL header development.

Ohhhhhh my bad! I had not read the turbo part!!!

It might be Phily's turbo car. There is a thread here. It was installed by Don@Accelerated Performance.

Edit:I can't find it. I know I saw the video but can't remember who it was.

Edit2: Aha! Found it! http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...hlight=unequal

I know im not the smartest when it comes to turbos but if i was planning on getting a turbo should i not buy headers, intake, and an exhaust until after i get the turbo or does it not matter?

it depends on what kit you buy. VO kit will provide the header which is where the turbine will connect to. On the other hand, Don's kit the turbine connects to the overpipe so his kit does not privde a header but provides the overpipe with connection. i only got an axleback. When I am 1000% certain what kit I'm gong with, I will buy whatever components will compliment it.

DO NOT buy headers if you are going turbo if you are going supercharger you can buy headers and pretty much ANYTHING else except for intake.
axle back is fine with turbo or supercharger.

turbos make more power, you can replace for bigger size turbo unlike a supercharger where the only thing you can do is change the ratio of the pulley turning the SC.
superchargers have also been known for reliability issues more than turbos. both have advantages and disadvantages I suggest you do some research cuz I don't want to
it comes down to preference.

Lets keep this thread for AVO turbo kit info and updates not "should I get this upgrade" questions.

To help you out, a turbo sits in your exhaust system and completely changes your intake system. One might logically conclude that buying an intake that gives you 2 hp is a waste of money espcially if you are determined to turbocharge.

As for the exhaust you can conclude that your exhaust system will change too since the turbo is being implanted into it. It is probably safe to get an axle-back exhaust as that part is untouched by the turbocharger system. To make things a little bit more complicated some turbo kits are being developed where you can just bolt on any cat-back exhaust to it. So in those cases you can buy a cat-back exhaust (ask the turbo kit manufacturer). Stay away from header-back exhausts.
