the button that advanced keys uses(or used) is based on a toyota push button. this thread even talks about them no longer using the toyota one(although in another thread someone says that they are still using them). because it's based on a toyota one then you swapping it for the trd push start shouldn't be an issue. you won't need any other hardware assuming you're using the advanced keys push kit.

This threads last reply was made in 2014... I’m sorry to bring it back from the grave lol. Anyone in the Bay Area installed this themselves and willing to help me out if I buy everything soon. I literally only want push to start without inserting my keys. I don’t care about proximity or any of the other stuff. Just want push to start and I wanna cover the ignition key hole. Would I still have to buy the whole kit? Or can I just buy separate parts
