So after doing a few runs today my black wire to the compressor came out. Yesterday the blue one came out too. Is anyone else having this issue? Can I use electrical tape to keep the connections together or would it just melt?

You may have to gently adjust the bullet connectors with a small needle nose plier. Also try to make just a tad of slack in the cable. If you feel like they could still separate, then a bit of tape wont hurt but shouldn't be necessary. |

Version 2.5 or 3? Keep us posted. It feels like we are on our way to something big. Last edited by DAEMANO; 01-16-2015 at 01:03 AM. |

This just keeps getting better and better. I dream of the day when I rig up 2 of these in parallel with a way to control the boost. Wouldn't that be something.

Either v2, 2.5 or 3 will work for this application. It's really overkill as the Procede was designed to offer control of BMW single turbo conversions running flexfuel on top of methanol injection. For this application, we are only using 1 of 10 available outputs. But it does leave A LOT of room for potential upgrades/new functions.

Early still....but the jack can be connected to a 'NOS' switch, a part/WOT switch or Shiv's logic device. |

iirc Procede is pretty expensive; hopefully a cheaper solution is discovered.

The elaborate plug and play harness used in original Procede kits were actually more expensive to manufacture than the Procede itself, which led to the high cost ($750) of the kit. In this case, the harness costs next to nothing to manufacture so the price of the Procede will be substantially lower than it ever was in any other application.

I am game whenever its ready. The cost to me is worth it. Linear power delivery with this setup would be perfect and add confidence when AXing with the ESC on. Assuming that this would allow for true linear power, but I cant imagine why it wouldn't.

I am installing my kit this weekend. It is the version 1 kit, but with the upgraded batteries and battery block components.
Will a version 2 (upgraded control box, turbine) be needed to add procede boost control?

my question is, how long will the boost last under constant use, even at lower levels. I would assume you would want boost to start building at about 30% to 40% throttle. Much lower and you would be draining the batteries every time you took off from a stop sign or redlight. Second, I guess is what type of tune would we need? Our current tune relies on Open loop. I guess shiv has worked out boost for turbo kits (sbd?) with the OFT, so he should be fine for this, but it doesn't seem like it will be as easy of a tune as with the original setup.
