Anyone notice that the 2 screws holding it is not enough?

When taping on the front of the fog lights it's kind of loose

Yes, I wrapped the tabs that don't use the screws with some electrical tape to build them up for a tighter fit.

I was installing a set of new LEDs for my BRZ fogs.

I took them out easily. Swapped the bulbs.

For the life of me, I can't figure out myself to put the brackets to line up to the mount properly. It's not 'clicking' in to the mount for some reason.

Right now, I just pushed in the bottom parts and it's holding them fine, but I can see how the bulb is pointing up. I think it's going to blind the drivers in front. I didn't know 45W LED for fogs are this bright.

Any tip on putting the brackets to the mount?

Thanks guys.

Check the splines on the bulbs, you may need to remove some of them to make it fit.

Where did you find 45w LED's? That's pretty hectic.

Also, has anyone tried running 55w HIDs in these? or is 35w the absolute threshold.
thanks!

Are you recommending to stick with 35w? Or against HIDs in general for fog lights. Lol

Haha sorry no I meant 55w HID's in general. I'm running 35w HID in mine and it's fine but they do generate quite a bit of heat. I have tested 55w and I'm sure the heat from those would be too much.

I might go back to halogen though because HID looks nice but they don't work well in a reflector housing.
