Can anyone clear up how to wire the release series lights onto the FRS? There are only 6 wires coming from the headlight.

I'm very confused as to how to get DRL functionality on these.

Did you ever figure this out?

I just intalled mine yesterday and my LEDs are on with parking lights and low/high beam, but aren't on as DRLs. I think they are way too bright to have on at night.

Going to try wiring the white wire to the 12V power from the resistor cable that was removed to see if that fixes it..

I think I am the same as you. Mine is not the brightest setting and it's been bugging me. I think I found a connector inside the housing with a circuit board and I had to tap into a pin that's labeled DRL

Lazy request:
Do any of you have the lights off the car at the moment?
I'd like to know if the led control board is easily accessible from the outside or if I have to cook the lights open to add the 7th pin for the led low power mode.

You have to open it up if I remember correctly. the only thing you can access is the ballast.

Thank you for the guide
Here is what I did

FRS 6 PIN connecting to JDM Zenki 8 PIN
LEDs will only work with low and high beams on

Wired FRZ 6 PIN to JDM 8 PIN:
Low beam bulb = HID bulb
Ground Low beam bulb = Ground HID bulb

High beam DRL = LEDs
Ground High beam DRL = Ground LEDs

Wired together but not used:
Extra DRL Parking = High beam position actuator
Ground Extra DRL Parking = Ground High beam position actuator

I removed the DRL resistor but I am still not sure why or what bad things would have happened. Can someone clarify?
