@CSG Mike I have a question on how my car handles. The setup is as follows:

- WedsSport TC105N 17x8 +42 with BFGoodrich Rivals 225/45/17 (32psi pressure cold)
- KW Clubsport set as follows:
Front: Compression 7 clicks out - Rebound 9 clicks out
Rear : Compression 7 clicks out - Rebound 9 clicks out
Ride height (not sure how to measure this but I set it about 1.5" higher than KW recommends measuring from hub center to fender, was too low at the recommended 12.6")
- Whiteline endlinks front, Perrin endlinks rear
- Car is corner weighed for 50% cross weight
- Alignment is:
Front camber -2.5 with 0 toe
Rear camber -2.0 with +0.03 toe in on each side

The car is significantly lighter in the rear because of wheel, tools, and stock muffler removal (running Tomei 60s catback). The car exhibits corner entry push, in the middle of the corner it grips, and on throttle application for corner exit the rear end breaks loose.

I don't necessarily dislike the way it handles, but I want to decrease the corner entry push, prolong the mid corner grip and decrease the quickness the rear end breaks loose on exit. So just if this visual helps, currently I have this:

Entry Mid Exit
UUUUUUUUGGGGGOOOOOOOOO

This is what I want:

Entry Mid Exit
UUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGOOOO

U is understeer, G is grip, O is oversteer
Try more front camber, and 0 rear toe.

Also, cold tire pressures don't matter. Only pay attention to the hot pressures. You're probably too high hot

So regarding shoes and gloves for track use, which ones do you guys prefer? I need a set of gloves for karting being winter, but ill be using them for track next season. I get sweaty hands so they will need to cool, yet keep em warm for winter. Also for shoes, since i drive 4 hours a day for work, sometimes my feet get really uncomfy so i was wondering which shoes are nice to be at the track with, yet still be comfy for walking/being at the paddock etc.

I don't wear gloves so I don't know about all that but I do wear puma race shoes and they are very comfortable and affordable. I will also say that almost everyone I know that wears gloves use Simpson. They are probably the best but they run $50-$100 per pair while puma shoes run $30-$50 a pair so your gloves might cost more than your shoes.

I use Puma shoes, but use whatever is comfortable and gives you feedback through the pedals (particularly the brake pedal).

Puma just had a sale for 20-50% off, and then 30% off any order over $100, but the driving shoes rarely go on sale. They were mostly full price, but eligible for the 30% off $100

If you want a firm indication, we have a 2nd BRZ now.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Good being that CSG still sees potential in the platform.

Bad being that you're on your 2nd car already (first car had issues).

Specifically, we now have two BRZs

While Mike uses cool racing shoes, I use Vans, Etnies, or whatever good skater shoes to drive with. In other words, comfort is key while still being able to feel the pedals. With that being said, that's probably why Mike is "the driver" of CSG and not me...LOL

Try wrestling shoes, although they're not flame retardant, they'll provide good pedal feel. I'm sure you can find them at your nearby sporting goods store.

Also thinking about buying the Bell Sport SA2010 Auto Racing Helmet. My Simpson Bandit is pretty worn out. It was either the bell or the HJC Motorsports AR10 II SA2010 Auto Racing Helmet. Reason i chose these 2 is for the ventilation and the price. Im leaning more toward the bell though.

For starters merry Christmas. I would like to know what a good tire would be for stock suspension and upgraded brakes(brake ducts, rotors, pads, ss lines etc).
Thanks in advance.

The favorite street tire around here is the RS3.
