I have ran the RA1s and now switched to the R888s. Really liking the r888s for a street and track tire.

If you want to step up to a stickier tire, try the NT01 or RC1. I'm personally not a fan of the R888, as they're a peakier tire; the NT01 and RC1 are much more forgiving to mild setup differences, and have a wider temperature and pressure window for being fast.

RC1 cycles out after 15 min or so and isn't viable as a street tire here in NY/NJ unfortunately.

Then you're not putting all that much heat into them. I'd just go for real track pads and see how it goes. Most any race pad will be a step up from street pads.

Hey....Voltex Type 7 GT Wing (swan neck) or the APR GT 250 wing? The APR seems to have more adjustability, but the Voltex looks so good. However, I would go with which wing will be fastest......so which is better?

What are you trying to accomplish/fix? Are you going to run a front splitter too?

More downforce is the goal. I would pair this with a front splitter (the new 5" from Driveway Labs looks nice). The car feels well balanced now, but I want to increase cornering speeds. I like the Voltex, but my main concern other than price is the range of adjustability. There are a few different track configurations I run and each of them would optimally require a different angle for the wing.

If you want to maximize your downforce, you need to be looking at different wings.

The GT1000 or Type V will have substantially more downforce than the Type 7, or GT250, or any single element wing, regardless of configuration.

We can get ALL of the above for you.

I found some info on the GT1000. It looks like it might be too wide, as I need the wing at 69" or under per NASA rules? I also drive this car on the street a few times a week, and I am not a great fabricator and it looks like you have to mount this to the chassis. But, oh the look on the guys' faces at the track if I showed up with a serious wing mounted properly haha. Where can I find info on the Type V?

APR GT250 with NASA discount and use the money saved over the Voltex on other parts or more track time.

I think the wing cannot exceed the width of the car.

hey, I'm just looking for some advice on tires. I just signed up for an HPDE at Summit Point, WV (Summit point main) in early November where the temps will likely be in the low 40-50s. Any idea on tire? I was thinking about Michelin PSS. 245/40/17 on a 17x9.
