the funny thing is that is that "bike pumps" have been around since the dawn of the tire! How people can think that it wouldn't work on a car tire is just silly.

as a kid back home there was no such thing as an electric pump, all car tires, by everyone, were pumped using the "foot pump"

and fuck, I'm not even 30 yet...

but the real problem is not no pressure but VOLUME, car tires have much more volume than a bicycle tire.. and not all "foot pump's" are created equal either.

"a few pumps" is very optimistic, it certainly will take quite a bit but in a lot of cases the net time won't be all too different than using one of those cheap pumps.. also, NO NOISE!

went to the track today in the rain for the first time. i noticed almost any braking on corner entry gave me understeer. was i being to heavy on the brakes or is trail braking a no no in the rain? once in the corner the car seemed realy easy to balance between under and over steer. trying to put the power down to keep up with all the evos and sti's was another story lol.

Hi, This post is very good thanks for all the useful information!!
I have a Turbo FRS 280whp on a tune and 360whp in another tune with Meth. I want to go to the track do a 20 minutes seccion but I only have Project Mu, brake motul oil, lines and will order the mishimoto thermostat today. I have Motul on trans and diff.
Is going to be a problem with heat on the enguine oil for me to race?
My brakes will hold off fro now?

Is my first time doing circuit in Puerto Rico weather is always hot betwen 90-100 degrees. I am worry about heat and I do not want to buy radiator, oil cooler to later decide that the tracks here sucks and I dont want to do circuit anymore. I will eventually get Radiator and Oil cooler but I am more worry about forged internals because a friend of mine blow his enguine with similar HP maybe 30whp more than me.

what size sways are you guys running? Im still on stock sways, but i want a more neutral setup. Suspension wise, car is just on lowering springs and nothing else but i will be going coils in the near future after i install some bushings/mounts.

What about your setup makes it less neutral now?

Hey CSG Mike,
Have you considered 3-ways for your car?

Could have been more clear on that my bad. Dont want the amount of roll the car has, but also dont want it to be too stiff since im going coilovers. Do these cars like having the same size sways front and rear, or do they prefer a bigger soft front and a smaller stiff rear etc.

none of this is the definition of neutral

what is it about the roll you do not like?

You're already lowered, a swaybar over 1-wheel bumps isn't going to add any significant amount of discomfort than you already have.

as for size preference, that depends entirely on how you want the car to behave.. the car itself has no preference.
