Does anyone know how much power/torque will the OEM clutch handle up to? I don't want to upgrade the clutch unless entirely necessary to handle power boost. I have stock engine right now, but looking into 300 bhp upgrades down the road. Any advice would be appreciated.

We have installed quite a few ACT Clutches now on the BRZ/FR-S and they are great. Very good pedal feel and not a very harsh clutch for a DD. I would recommend the Sprung 6 puck disc option if you are opting for around 300whp rather than the street disc though. You will also notice a tad bit of clutch chatter but its nothing to be worried by.

It really depends on the torque. Just because you make 300 whp on a Vortech supercharger at high RPM doesn't mean you are making the 250+ ft/lbs of torque over a large RPM window that will make your clutch start slipping if you have a turbo kit.
