Unless you have a friend with an FRS who would loan you his lights for a few days, hehe.

I finished mine in about 5 hours. I don't see why you would need to let the paint cure for hours. Once it's dry to the touch, put em back together, just don't touch the paint too much

When I was a kid I built a lot of car models, and I was always so impatient that I wanted to paint the bodies and then assemble them as quickly as possible. As a result, most of the finished models had nice fingerprints on the doors from when I held the bodies when the paint wasn't quite cured. I began painting the cars at night, then assembling them in the morning. I didn't have to "watch paint dry" and I never had the fingerprint problem again. To this day I still paint at night and assemble in the morning to make sure that my lack of patience doesn't ruin any more projects.

Did mine yesterday. Thanks for the very detailed write up Darren. I was also somehow able to remove my side markers without breaking the tabs. What do you think?

"CulbyJack"

This is what I used. I used a little more than one can. It took about 6 coats to get the look I wanted.
