I think that's about the worst place for the exhaust outlet though.

What do you guys think of wing mounting locations? I have two different designs I am working on, a trunk mount and bumper mount. I personally like a bumper mount because it has more positive in my opinion. Let me know what you guys think...

Bumper mount would be tricky if the customer has put on a new body kit with different angles. All of the trunks that I've seen have used the same OEM angles.
Personally I think the bumper mount would work better with aero but trunk mount looks better and usability of the trunk is not compromised. |

they moved the exhaust to above the diffuser exiting right of the plate/tag sealled the hole in the diffuser and picked up 20 points of down for one of drag iirc the elise/exige also have flat floors infront of the diffuser Not our "86's" |

Did we ever reach a consensus as to if the Borla diffuser was functional or not?

You can link to an individual post that way we don't have to look at a bunch of picturers of ricer LEDs.
And no, I can't see that doing much of anything. You can't even call it a diffuser. Last edited by jamal; 02-20-2013 at 02:34 PM. |

A discussion on the Borla diffuser: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23229
The Rocket Bunny piece being called a diffuser is a bit of a misnomer. It's more of a rear valance. |

Thats mainly a cosmetic piece. To be more functional it needs to extend further towards the axle. Its better than nothing there i guess. Looks good though.
