I have about 3 threads left, so it can be lower. The cols have settled more and I will take more pics when are my turbo goes in hopefully this weekend.

Personally, I like the SPC control arms due to their cost, factory look, and ease of adjustment. They won't adjust as far, only +-2 deg, but I like how the adjustment point is towards the outside edge of the arm.
Absolutely correct, I am running the Oem crash camber bolts on the front and am looking into the rear LCAs but car is handling awesome and have no rubbing issues with the back. Maybe considering Stance or Spc I'll compare some others as well.

I'm looking at getting a set of coilovers soon, deciding between this and the Bilstein B14. Anyway....would you mind giving us another short review on how you're getting on with this (especially the ride quality) now that you've had it on for awhile..?

I'm not the OP, but I've had these for ~900 miles. The ride feels almost like stock, just a little stiffer, so it gets a little bouncy if you drive through a series of bumps - but the ride pretty much feels stock.

Other than that, no clunking or other weird noises. The car definitely feels more planted with less body roll during hard cornering. If you need help with install, ask OP bc he helped me a lot lol. I used the links below for the install - might help if you choose to DIY.

Bumping an old thread here, but I have a question that pertains to this thread:

If I were to install these without changing anything else camber related, would I have issues? I'm only looking to lower the car 1.5in, so not slammed by any means. I'd rather go ahead and order anything else before I get these.

Thanks!

Some info that may be helpful to you when deciding between them, or may not be. But apparently the B14's have a wider spring than most coilovers (closer to OEM width) so if you're going with coilovers for added inner clearance for wide rims, you could possible have some rubbing issues that you wouldn't with the ST's (depending on widths, offsets, camber, etc).

You can find more info about it here:

A lot of people will ask you what you are planning on using your car for in order to answer this question (DD/track/both/etc). Personally, I would just spend the little bit of extra money and correct the camber so I don't have to worry about it and so I can get the car aligned perfectly.

SPC LCA's for the rear are not that expensive at all, and camber bolts for the front are really not that expensive at all either. My recommendation would just be to get them and if you don't end up needing them for some reason, just sell them, lots of people would buy them off these forums.

Cheers!

If you need something for DD i would recommend these thus far.
So would you recommend this for spirited driving? I plan to eventually get into autox with this car. I'm running 18x9.5 all the way around and want to just get rid of the wheel gap really, not trying to go too low.

So a question here. Do you have to use part of the old spring/strut system to install the ST coilovers? Do I need a spring compressor?

Exactly depending on you setup and how aggressive you want to go you should consider a camber kit for correction, I am actually going with a wider setup this season since my turbo kit is going in so I'll need a set of LCAs

Spirted driving would be ok, but if you have any serious plans in the future for really tracking and are serious about it save your money for some KW3s

The only thing I would highly recommend is the front crash bolts- if I remember they are 20 something dollars and makes sense to get them when you install the coils

Negative on spring compressor, I would assume since it'll replace the whole shock/springs.

You will need to use your stock top mount. So yes, you will need a spring compressor.

Are there aftermarket top mounts?

I might be wrong, as I had my shop install my ST's, but I don't think you need a spring compressor. The fronts at least use a helper spring that you should be able to compress by hand if needed.

I have done many spring removals in my younger days. I would unscrew the last few theards with an open ended wrench and let it go sailing across the garage floor. Of course only on light cars. Thanks for the input. Is it worth getting the KW V1 so I don't have to deal with stock caps? Would you guys say the the V1 have the same feel and ride qualities as the ST?
