Question Maf sensor max out

Hey,

I am running kraftwerk c30 kit and I am maxing out the maf at 6500rpm.
Is there a maf more powerful and direct fit out there?

Thanks

I apologize, just read quickly.

I have not looked THAT much but I don't recall seeing a note of anyone replacing their MAF sensors even with higher HP builds than that Kraftwerks kit would put out..

maf sensor should not max out on c30 on standard pulleys and pump gas, check if it's sitting correctly (maybe twisted a bit) and that o-ring is not ripped. otherwise you'd need to do an SD or hybrid tune.

Hybrid tune would be the solution but as already said I'm surprised to see it max out. Also have you checked at all if your tune does not already have some sort of hybrid setup to it for the higher rpms. With a SC being so linear and consistent I would think your tuner would already have seen this.

More info : We were tuning in 0 degre celsius. That might help understand why it is maxing out for me and not for other people with the same setup.

My tuner is using BRZedit so I don't think it support Speed density.

Sorry I am a newbie for tuning terms, what does Hybrid tune means?

Your options are switch to EcuTek and run a full or partial speed density tune or modify the pipe that houses the MAF sensor so that you don't exceed the max voltage. Bigger pipe, less air flow, lower voltage.

Hybrid means it switchs between MAF readings and speed density. This allows the best of both worlds. Simply enlarging the pipe would work but would have side effects at lower rpms. I believe the KW is already a 3" tube anyway.

Speed Density via Ecutek or any standalone would be your top choices.

Yes, Kraftwerk use a 3" tube and my tuner use BRZedit so no speed density for me.
