Winjet Headlight Owner Review

Hello everyone! Just out of curiosity how is everyone's winjet headlights holding up so far? I've heard mixed stories about some having condensation issues due to it being made in China but I've also heard that everyone is loving them!

I'm looking into getting these headlights but would like to know whether the issue of the condensation has been fixed and if not whether Winjet themselves or vendors were able to replace the product. Also has anyone managed to turn on the LED's with the headlights on low beam? Also will these headlights work with existing foglights? Thanks!

I can comment on your last two questions, yes I've managed to modify the winjets to operate with the low beam, AND as normal DRL. I'm working on making a kit that's end user friendly to install. I solder it all together, but for most that would be unacceptable as not everyone can solder, or solder properly. And I don't see any reason these wouldn't work with fog lights.. As far as the condensation issue, I know of one reported issue that was slightly fogging, but don't know what happened to fix it, or get new ones to him. I have my set apart awaiting my new projectors and some other little mods I'm doing to it. So I'd have to leave the rest of the questions to the other owners that have them installed

I love my headlights, they are great for the price. I did have slight condensation when i first got them. But after having them on for a bit, i haven't noticed it happen again. The passenger light bulb went out within the first month of ownership, actually tonight. But that doesn't bother me as i have just replaced it with the Phillips Silverstars which match the original bulb. Cheap replacement until i find better bulbs. If dropping $430ish dollars doesn't bother you, then go for it, i'm glad i did.

Will fog for the first week. After that, will stop fogging. I have mine wired to the existing "led fog light strip". So i control both sets of leds with my fog switch.

No. Put them on car. Drive for a week. Notice condensation is gone and never comes back. Simple as that.

The country of origin does not contribute to the condensation issues. China actually produces many automotive headlight housings for OEM's.

Depo (makers of Tom's Taillights), are one of the top 20 largest companies in Taiwan and are extremely skilled at producing housings for both aftermarket and OEM applications.

With that being said, if the company paying for the tooling orders a low-quality product, the Chinese manufacturer will gladly produce a low-quality product.

Winjet has been around for a long time, they supply to Spyder, Anzo, Spec-D etc...they just recently started selling their own designs IIRC

Only happened 1 time since then. And it's usually on like really foggy/humid/large temp change days.

It's not really an issue for me as it clears up quickly. It's not really condensation as much as just some fog on the lens.

Yup have had the WinJets for 6 months or so now and notice condensation after a rainy then humid day, turning the headlights one burns away any of the condensation, also it hasn't come back in similar conditions
