225/55/r17 will it fit?

Hi guys. I'm sure these is going to be a tight fit but if 225/55/17 is going to be tight. How do the hella flush community do it when slammed?

I got a killer deal from a friend who's half way across the country. And I'm going to be visiting him. But before I desire to sell of my stock rims. Will 225/55/r17 be that much different?

I could live with a few km's off the speedo.

Use a tire size calculator. I would say they are too tall.

55 is wayyy too much sidewall for this car...

get something 40 or 45. you'll look like the next 86 rally car with those tires.

I bet it would fit. People often lower their cars. You might want some stiffer springs to keep from bottoming out (if you can call it that). As a bonus, you would get better fuel economy on the freeway, better ride quality with stock springs, and a noticeably reduction in miles on your odometer. Win, win, win!

I had a similar size on my car for winter (225/50R17) for 1 season on my stock wheels as I wasn't about to spend an extra couple hundred on some winters for 1 season. The car was 100% stock as well.(wouldn't imagine wintering this car now lol).

The thing rode like a suv let me tell ya *super canadian accent*

The speedo was pretty far off, like 5-6% but I got away with it.

It's gonna look really weird. Why not 225/40 or 225/45?
