CalID D00C to B01C Compatibility

Hey Guys,

I have a B01C calibration file for a Cosworth setup I am installing today, but the car is a D00C factory calibration. The tune is locked via ECUtek so there is not much I can do with the file.

I am looking to confirm backwards compatibility. Am I able to flash a D00C car back to a B01C calibration file?

This is the only way I can think of to use this tune file. I could use a B01C flash from OFT to 'update' the ECU to B01C. I would do this with my Tactrix cable and Ecuflash.

Then when hooked up to ECUtek to flash the Cosworth tune, it would register as compatible with the ROM I was given for a B01C.

Is this a possibility? Or am I going to need to keep the car inoperable until I can get a reply from Cosworth? Looking at their map availability, I don't even see D00C calibration files as being an option from their list of available maps...

D00/E00 MY15 series has different hardware which required different ECU logic which is why all the B01C and earlier OFT files were not updated to D00C. Steve has tested D00G on A01G and it doesn't work.
