Stock amp/wiring questions

Anyone know what the capacity of the stock wiring is? I'm only looking at getting a 400-500 watt amp. Nothing ridiculous.

The stock fuse is rated 15A, you could try running more, but the wires are not particularly low gauge I gotta say. I think if you try for more on the stock power line you'll risk fire. if you want to go bigger you'll need an amp power kit for safety, and quality actually.

I have my amp run on the stock lines, but it's a 15A amp

You are talking about power wire to the stock amp, right?

Chimera is correct on the rating. I ran a 50x2 AB amp off the stock wiring temporarily and it was fine. You definitely need more wire for 400 watts.

Running a power wire back from the battery is very easy in our cars. Do you want me to make you a short video? Don't waste your time and try to use the power wire from the factory amp.
