BRZ Dash-top Cleaning Help

Hi All --

Just got my BRZ last week and I've noticed this smudge on the top of the "leather" dash. I tried wiping it off with little success. Any recommendations on how to remove it or what to do? If I took it to Subaru could they do anything about it?

Thanks.

Those dont look like smudges, but more of imperfections or indents in the textured rubber. Maybe something was pressed down there and it smoothed out the texture. Can't be sure without better pictures, but that's my guess.

Something like that isn't really fixable, if it bugs you take it back to the dealership and try to make a warranty claim.

if you do use armorall, don't tell the dealers. They 'hate it' and members have reported that the dealers have blamed cracks, lifting..etc of dashes due to us using armor all.

Get a car interior cleaning wipe and see if it fades a bit although like jim above said, it does look like imperfections. Maybe someone set something while the car was hot for a few days there?

Looks like something abrasive marred the grain of your leather sir. You can find everything you need to fix it here: http://www.docstotalpackage.net/category/580483

Definitely not leather lmao

Not sure exactly what it is but leather? No...

I just clean with damp cloth and mid diluted soap.

lol, well I did say, "leather". But I tried cleaning it with a damp cloth, though I will admit, I wasn't rubbing that hard in fear of anything. I'll give it another shot.

If something has "filled in" the spaces between the bumps, maybe a bit if light scrubbing with a tooth brush and a mild soap may clean it up.....
