Your thoughts on CWP's potential?

Hello,

I'd like to introduce myself as a new BRZ owner from the Bay Area. This is essentially my dream car (excluding unaffordable ones) and I'm coming from a '14 Accord Sport in white orchid pearl, I'm just now appreciating the idea of having a 6MT as a daily driver and so far thoroughly enjoy having to take the car out for any reason.

I purchased a '15 BRZ Limited 6MT in CWP - I considered DGM and WRB and while I truly appreciate the colors in person, I could only appreciate WRB on some days, not permanent ownership, and DGM seems to only catch my attention when the sun's glaring at it and I'm nearby enough to see the distinction in the body lines.

So here I am with CWP, while having a BRZ in general is amazing since they all look great, owning another white car is slightly underwhelming as I feel the other colors hold my attention better when considering stock, even tho CWP is the safe choice no matter the angle/setup while I find the other color setups way too overdone. I obviously plan to tint it as well. In that regard, the compilation threads are full of great looking DGM/WRB cars while SWP is full of stock setups, does anyone have good pictures of how well white can look when the same amount of money is put in? I'm having a difficult time finding a configuration that really stands out.

Here's a picture of the BRZ, I've so far considered an STI front lip and not quite sure on wheels, blacked out wheels are great in person but there are very few 86s in my area and I only get ideas from pics which don't do justice -_-

I wish they still have SWP, cuz it's an amazing color. CWP is nice and all but it's obviously less pearl. Plus side is it's easier to paint match but it just doesn't glow like SWP.

Not a huge fan of showing too much pearl esp in pics, the glow in person is already significantly better compared to Honda's "White Orchid Pearl".

Color has nothing to do with the desire to mod it or not... It's all in your head. And yeah, your bumper isn't gonna last long parking like that, above the block or not.

To be clear, the bumper is not on or next to the block in real life, lol. There's plenty of room in between. True, I was just looking for examples of how diff color combinations look on CWP.
This isn't my parking either if anyone cares I'm not in the lines haha.

I feel the CWP looks really good if you go with the stormtrooper look (like the series.blue - white with black accents). If you don't want to go for the black lips at the bottom, then you could go with black wheels and a black vinyl-wrapped roof. Or even the TRD louvers! I bet those would look good.

I got CWP and don't regret it for a second. Also, it seems to attract much less attention from police.

I have a CWP myself and it won out between that and the WRB just barely, but I don't regret it. and like kch said, it does seem to attract less attention from the police even with the "mods" that I have done like smoked tails and gold wheels (plastidipped stockers).

I'll get you a pic soon. once I get the pics over onto my laptop lol

I'm a fan of CWP. I think i'm going to go TRD louvers. Nobody has them and even though 90% of people hate on them from being so old school, I think they will look dope. I think white is probably the only color car I would put the louvers on though.
