Best <$1k uncatted EL header???
What are the best, and your recommended, EL headers that are sub <$1k?
For sure and I've read that JDL, Nameless and HKS are the best and top notch quality headers ..but I don't want to spend $1,200 on headers. Looking for inexpensive (<$1k), the best bang for the buck, catless EL header. Higher the quality the better. A bonus if any of them have a good/lifetime warranty. Also, looking for the best that makes the most power of course. Which are the good ones though? OFH, PPE, P&L, Tomei, Skunk2, Rev Works, etc., etc.?

I've been researching this a lot too, I want to run an OFT with a EL header but I don't want to spend much more than $1000 for both.
PPE is probably the "best" of the least expensive EL headers you listed, if you don't want the kind that go up in front of the motor. The Skunk2 header has a nice layout but I'm not sure about the collector. Japanparts.com has the HKS header WITH cat for under $900 right now (probably another $100 in shipping, so it would be $1000 or so). But right now it looks like the "best" of the cheap EL headers is probably Tomei. I just wish it was 4-1 instead of 4-2-1 |

A lot of people are saying the Tomei is the best cheapy header. Nice. Easy choice I guess.
But what's up with that P&L? Any good? Proven? Looks a lot like the JDL. |

Check out the PTuning header. From my research it's one of the best. I like the ACE header too, but I think you need to change up your engine mounts with that header.

It's a little over 1k, but I'm very happy with my Ptuning header.

Go JDL. If you want quality, you're going to have to pay for it.
