Do you have daily drive car?

Was thinking about get a Daily Driver soon. Wanted to see what some of you guys have and maybe what to check out. I looked into a Nissan 300zx or a Dodge Dart.

That's what makes the GT86 so neat. :-)

It's a daily driver.

We all wanted a Lotus Elise but cost, and/or size made it impractical.

And that's why I got a BRZ instead.

OP, I wouldn't really classify a 300z as a daily driver, unless you found one in pristine condition. It's more along the lines of a project car that collects rust in your driveway.

I have a 2014 Scion FR-S that I use as my DD, along with track days, long road trips, and occasional towing. It's alright I guess.

My frs is my daily driver. If I were to get a different DD I would buy a '91 crx and do a serous restomod to it then it would switch from project to DD and my FRS would become my project.

I'd avoid the Dart. My fiance has a 2013 and I had to fix the hesitation issue with the turbo by adjusting the waste gate which is fixed in later models. Rides smooth, and haven't had any other problems, but the spark plug change comes up so soon on those cars. I think the first change is at 30k.

My vote goes to the 2016 Mazda 3 S Grand Touring. That will be my next daily drive car.

I will tell you from first hand experience to not buy a 300zx as a daily driver. You will end up spending more money than it's worth just to keep it running.

Nice car. This is something that's good to have as a DD. Blends in with the road in the exterior, but under the hood you've got a pretty powerful machine.

Sometimes I don't like all the attention our cars get, particularly with the younger crowd of degenerates who want to destroy or ruin any nice thing they look at. Hence why I think the SS is perfect.

Thanks,

It still draws attention, the majority of which being stares and rubbernecking when people hear it (stock exhaust is silly good for a stock sedan). The blue unfortunately gives up a solid bit of the sleeper status the car has.

Mostly though the questions are so is that a malibu/impala?

Yeah I feel as if the only people who know what this car is are the car enthusiasts rather than the laymen.
