Has any one straight piped?

Hey guys, I was thinking of having my fried my weld me a pretty sweet exhaust similar to the picture below. I was wondering if anyone has straight piped on here. I was thinking of straight piping from the catback. What do you guys think it will sound like?

Depends on how the rest of your exhaust set up. Front pipe catted or uncatted and also headers. If its just a cat back, it will sound good, even better if you have a catless front pipe. Headers and straight piped will be too much for daily driving, unless you like it that way.

IMO bozu pipes or whatever they're called only work well with the car if it is equally kitted/aggressive lines etc. That car looks good because it's slammed and has a wild color as well as kit.

On a stock 86 or even simply lowered I really think it just looks out of place. the 86 rear is fairly rounded with fairly little lateral / aggressive lines so it really doesn't have the same effect.

On to your question, it will be loud.

My plan is V2 rocket bunny on bags or air cup kit (long steep dirt driveway) and at some point I'm designing a rear defuser similar to the one in the picture. Also as far as color goes idk if i want a simple color or some army colors to match the aggressiveness. As far as the cat goes I am just going to keep it stock for the winter and until I get a turbo kit. Which will be a little after I install the kit and suspension.

For sound, look to all the muffler delete videos plus the possibility of a little more drone. Gonna sound great just make sure your ready for loud always haha. 👍

It's loud but sounds pretty good (so long as there is still a resonator/cat somewhere), I have a few videos in my car journal.
