Throttle Pedal Lag
Is there anyway to get rid of this lag? Driving my friend's evo made me realize how bad it is. At least the lag isn't nearly as bad as my friend's 06 civic si (my god it's terrible).
I have OFT but I'm pretty sure it was just as laggy while stock. |

Check your fuel trims, log your LTFT it should be less than 5% throughout rpm range. Changing intakes can throw off maf scaling and cause hesitation If your running big LTFT say 10% plus it can cause problems. Check for vacuum leaks in intake near maf sensor, check for exhaust leaks near o2 sensors or before o2 sensors. Scale your MAF sensor. (mass air flow) Check you IAM (ignition advance multiplier) it should be solid at one. If its less than 1 run better fuel try different brands of fuel or octane booster or change your tune for the lower octane fuel version more info see links below |

You can log pedal position and throttle position with oft. Why not take some logs and get an idea where it is lagging. Do you natice it most at high or low rpm? Large or small throttle openings?
