2 Different sets of lowering springs - still sitting .5" higher in the front?

Hi guys. I'm pissed off. And here is why.

I originally had Tein S-Tech springs on my car, with OEM wheels and tires. The front sat 1.5" above the front tire, and the rear sat 1.0" Above the rear tires.

Then I figured maybe my shocks were blown out. So I put them on new OEM front and rear shocks. Still 1.0" over the rear, 1.5" over the front.

Then I swapped them out for 235/35/18 wheels in the front, and 255/35/18 wheels in the back. Still 1.0" over the rear, and 1.5" over the front.

So I bought eibach sportline springs, thinking maybe the Teins I had weren't correct. Still 1.0" over the rear, and 1.5" over the front.

What the hell is going on. I had considered changing front tire size, but I can't do that because if I go to 235/40/18, it will actually have more side wall in the front than rear, which will look stupid.

And I cant go with 225/40/18 in the front (which would make the overall diameter front/rear identical) because then the rim would stick out too wide past the tire.

What the hell can I do to make the front end drop .5" short of cutting a spring?

You realize that front fenders are cut higher than the rear? The car isn't higher in the front it is just the look. In the Subie world they even sell "saggy butt spacers" to fix this on imprezas.

Had this issue with my Sportlines. I thought I had saggy butt syndrome. Coilovers fixed that easily by letting my adjust the height to where I felt it should be. With the money already spent on 2 sets of springs and shocks you probably could've had coilovers already.

most cars are like this. My 99 Integra had the same issue because the front fenders are cut out more than the rears. The car is level. My STi springs initially had the rear .5" higher and the front drop .5". Now the springs have settled and the car has been driven, they are both .5" lower than stock springs. I am also running a new wheel/tire compliment which closed the gap a little.
