DeliciousTuning EcuTek help

I just got my ecutek from DTuning, and flashed my ECU. Having done this procedure with other products on other cars before, I wasn't paying attention to the "stage" of the map that came on the CD Rom...

I paid for a Stage-2 93 octane map, but the rom file was labeled "stage 1." I can't seem to locate any files in my DTuning online account, and as you know, they're having this little fire problem in San Diego... (hope everyone's safe out there).

So... what do I do now? I'm completely stock, but about to install a panel filter and will be getting JDL EL catted headers soon. The FAQ says this will work with a stock car, so I should be alright correct?

Also, I have a question about the map switching... How do I know what map is what? This flash has 2 maps on it, as I can only switch between map 1 and 2. However, I have no idea what each map is???

Based on how Bill normally sets up his tunes
Map 1 - tuned for normal driving
Map 2 - tuned slightly more timing meaning more aggressive
You should be fine using Stage 1 with filter and header until you hear from Delicious again.

Hey there,

A bit hot out here but we haven't burned down yet! I get a chance to check here every now and then. Rest assured you received the correct file. Ryan is correct as well, Map 1 is your daily driver map, Map 2 is still perfectly safe, but more of a spirited map. It is a bit more aggressive, and also has auto blip downshifting as well as launch control.

Sincerely,

Zach

@Zach
Glad to hear you guys ok, saw your clip on the fire tornado, wow we don't see stuff like that out here.
I've asked Bill before, can't say I've seen a answer, maybe you can advise

Why won't Bill add launch control for the Innovate/Sprintex tune?

Sorry to ask in this thread.

I know he won't do FFS because it tends to eat belts. Likely the same reasoning if i had to guess.

Ah okay. Thanks guys!

I was wondering if it was possible to set it up with the stock map as one of the options?
