Water getting into windows after a car wash

I'm not sure if I exacerbated the problem by taking off my interior door cards a number of times to work on installing new speakers and sound dampening, but does anybody else have an annoying amount of water get past the rubber seal when you wash the car? Each time a door opens, the window goes down, and when shut, it pulls up a bit of water that seeped past the seal. Sometimes it'll take a day or so before it dries completely (probably cause the water is actually inside the door). Wondering how much water gets in there under heavy downpour.

The water is absorbed on that felt like thing within the window guide. The only solution is to wait it out.

Yep, I've noticed that.

It sort of annoys me when I roll up the window and it leaves water marks/streaks on the glass....

Not sure if troll, but whatever.

Water is intruding into the interior of the car or the exterior of the window? If it's only on the exterior of the window covering the portion that gets covered during the down-up (when opening the door) motion, that's normal. Water collects on the felt of the window seal, so it's completely normal for there to be residual water after a car wash.

Water gets into my doors too. Many other members have reported the same. Not sure if anyone has got it fixed. Seems to be a design flaw just like the tail lights. My windows also squeak loudly when going up and down during or after heavy rain.
