Price of E85 vs. Gas

Where I live I there is no E85 available.
But the cheapest 93 octane in town is $3.99/gal.

So I was wondering what people pay per gallon for alcohol compared to the price of high octane gas?

I can still get premium near $3.50, 93 octane. E85 is near $3.00, but as mentioned you use much more per mile.

I heard it's burns about 20% faster? so just add 20% to the cost of e85 and compare.

You tend to not give a crap about the gas mileage once you feel the power increase of E85.. lol

My STi got 15-18 on 91 and gets 12-15, mostly 12, on E85.

91 is about 3.70 and it's about the same for E85 because or availability. Typically E is 3.00-3.50. 93 is about 5.00.

I'm getting significantly less with E85 and thats not beating on it. Don't have solid MPG numbers but its like ~80 miles less than 93.
