16x8 et48 with a 245, yea or nea?

I got a lead on some very cheap(6 wheels also) Rota Slipstream 16x8 et48 with some 245/45/16 on them. Used on a WRX previously. Tire size thingy tells me it's the same diameter than the stock wheels/tires i'm running except much wider... I'd probably replace the almost dead tires with some RE11s down the line, available in that size. Those would probably be track only wheels/tires, I may even go with Hoosiers on them.

I'm sure it's ok on the fender side but will it clear the suspension?

Thanks

Probably gonna hit the stock struts especially if you have any negative camber. The wheels may be ok with 225 tires but I'm not sure. If you have coilovers they should work.

I don't think it would fit without at least a small spacer. I ran 245/45/16 Hoosiers in the past for autocross but I don't think I would put that wide of a street tire on a 16x8 rim or even a Hoosier for track use. You would be better off with a 225 which would likely fit without any issues.
