pads and rotors/spring recommendations?
I had my car for like over an year now and the pads and rotors are on its way out, it is to the point that i have to brake ahead of time so they would work. Yesterday i was hitting downhill on this mountain roads and i was braking kinda hard from like 90mph and im pretty sure i fried them and i heard them screaming for like 5 mins after on the way home. What is the best pads and rotors you guys would recommend? i don't track my car but i need something that would withstand the heat and abuse, whats the best pad, rotor stainless lines and brake fluids set up for my driving? also any recommendations on custom spring rate setup for track? im running tein mono sports but i think a harder spring would help me corner better. Thanks in advance.

"i don't track my car" but "recommendations on custom spring rate setup for track"? :/
I have no clue from your post if you want brakes and suspension setup for DD or track. Optimal choices are exclusive for use with cons overcoming pros when used differently and hybrid solutions having their deficiencies/limits at either vs specialized solutions. |

Chances are you just need new pads.
Rotors: if you actually need them, there are zero advantage from slotted/drill ones. Just the sucker higher price tag. Any oem-ish ones would do a great job. Pads: depends on your wallet you can chose a crap ton of them. If you do 95% of daily driving anything a notch above oem would do just fine. TRD's pads are some, but for the price point there are lots of others to choose from. Some one else can put their recommendations. S.S. lines: biggest scam ever. It's literally just a new hose with a fancy jacket. Save some money and just buy a S.S. dress up sleeve. Brake fluid: unless you are hitting the track every weekend, any brake fluid would do fine. But if you want spend a few bucks more, you can go with any "race" or "high performance" brake fluid. Springs: If you don't track your car, you don't need it. If you don't plan to track your car you won't need it. But.... if you want a better springs I would lose the Tein. As to which? That depends what you want from them. Like I said if you don't go to the track or plan to, a notch above oem would do fine. Either STI or TRD springs would be fine.

from a reliability standpoint, stainless steel lines are marginally better, as the stainless steel is containing some of the line pressure. again, this is a mod specifically done for more consistent brake feel.

Here's some real world advice for a daily driven street car....
If you have zero intention of tracking the car, install OE or OEM brake parts. The reason your pads are fading right now is likely because your pads are low and they're not able to dissipate the heat properly. More pad and the thicker the rotor, the more thermal capacity your brakes have. Also, if you're brake fluid is more than a year or 2 old, it likely has absorbed some moisture which again leads to poor braking. I'm regards to suspension, if you're looking to get rid of some body roll but keeping similar ride comfort, I'd recommend sway bars. The factory bars are very thin in diameter and a nice set of thicker bars will help get rid of that unwanted body roll. Sent from my Pixel 3 using Tapatalk |

TRD pads were cheaper than the OE last I looked, worth checking out if OP wants something a touch 'sportier'
